Huq's place analytics combines what is in a place with how busy it is, for anywhere in the UK. Map points of interest, brand locations, industries, shopping centre types and retail centre types, then add weekly footfall, residents versus visitors and catchment. Use it to compare town centres, benchmark brands or size up a retail park. Work in the Explore map, export to Excel, or take Parquet and CSV feeds.

Place analytics pairs what is in a place with how busy it is. In the overview, look for the Explore map layers for brand locations, industries, shopping centres and retail centres, then see how footfall sits on the same map. That pairing is what lets you compare one UK town centre with another.

Place analytics is the study of places themselves: what is there, who uses it and how it performs. A town centre, a retail park or a shopping centre is a mix of brands, industries and footfall. Place analytics puts those together so you can compare one place with another.
In the UK the buyers are councils and BIDs managing high streets, landlords and asset managers reviewing centres, retail chains judging which places suit their brand, and investors checking assets. Most already hold a store database or a vacancy count. Few can see how busy each place is, week by week.
Huq adds that. Its footfall carries an 18.7% MAPE in Great Britain against landlord-reported footfall. In Huq's Ripon BID case, footfall was up 164% year on year.
