Footfall, catchment and place data for high streets, shopping centres and retail parks, in the platform or as Parquet and CSV feeds.

Up to 5 locations. No cost, no commitment.
We handle your details in line with UK GDPR.
Huq's location data measures how people use any place in the UK, from a single shop unit to a whole town centre. You get footfall by week, month and year, residents versus visitors, catchment by postcode, dwell time and visit frequency. Analysts take it as Parquet or CSV feeds into Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage. Commercial teams use the Explore map and Excel exports. Data refreshes weekly, with no hardware to install.

For a data buyer, the useful part of this overview is the moment an area becomes numbers. Look for one area drawn on the Explore map turning into footfall, catchment, residents and visitors. Then picture those same measures for every site on your list, refreshed weekly and landing in your bucket or an Excel file.

Search for location data in the UK and most results are about phone settings and privacy rules. For a business buying data, the term means something narrower: measures of how people use real places. How many visit a site, when, for how long, where they come from, and how that changes week to week.
UK buyers are usually retail chains choosing and reviewing stores, landlords and asset managers reporting on shopping centres and retail parks, councils and BIDs tracking town centres and testing whether regeneration schemes work, and investors checking assets before they buy. Data teams want it as files they can join to sales or lease data. Commercial teams want a map and a chart.
Huq serves both from one dataset. It publishes its accuracy by country: an 18.7% MAPE in Great Britain against landlord-reported footfall.

Three views your team will use most, from first look to a weekly file.

01
Weekly footfall for one address with period-on-period change. Compare a store against its town centre or retail park to separate local trends from your own performance.

02
Where visitors come from, shown by postcode and travel time. Useful for checking a new site's reach or a centre's draw against nearby competition.

03
A folder of locations tracked together with status and stakeholder reporting. The same list can feed a weekly Parquet or CSV delivery into your bucket.

Huq manually validates more than 1,000 locations in each of its 35 markets twice a year, and data refreshes weekly.

Retailers use it to choose sites and review stores. Landlords and asset managers use it to report on shopping centres and retail parks. Councils and BIDs use it to track town centres, and investors use it to check assets before buying. Huq's data covers footfall, catchment, residents and visitors, and behaviour at any UK address.
Under UK GDPR, location data that can identify a person is personal data, as the ICO explains. Huq's outputs are measures about places and areas, such as footfall totals, catchment by postcode and shares of residents and visitors. Ask us if your data protection team needs more detail before you buy.
Start with a free analysis: send us a few UK locations and we return footfall, catchment and visitor data for them. After that, you can use the platform, export CSV or Excel files, receive monthly PDF reports, or take data feeds as Parquet and CSV files into Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
No. Huq does not offer an API. Technical teams take data feeds instead: Parquet and CSV files delivered into your Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage bucket, ready to load into your warehouse. Others use the platform, CSV or Excel exports and monthly PDF reports.
Data refreshes weekly. Each refresh adds the latest week of footfall and behaviour metrics, so trends and period-on-period comparisons stay current. Feeds land in your bucket on the same weekly cadence.
