Huq's footfall analytics shows how any location in Germany, Austria or Switzerland is performing, and how it compares with nearby competitors and the wider market. See weekly trends, dwell time, visit frequency and the hours when people arrive. Benchmark a store against regional and national footfall. Share monthly PDF reports with your board or your tenants. You don't need counters, so the analysis also covers sites you don't own.

What is footfall analytics?

Footfall analytics turns visitor numbers into answers. Is this store weak, or is the whole city centre down? Which competitor is gaining visitors? Do opening hours match when people arrive? Did a city centre programme bring more visitors than in similar cities? In German, this work is often called Frequenzanalyse.

Many retailers and shopping centres in DACH already run counters at their own entrances. That data is good for their own doors. Huq adds the outside view. It works on any address, so you can analyse rival stores, other shopping streets and sites before you sign a lease.

Huq's published MAPE in Germany is 13.5% against landlord-reported footfall. That is its best market. Huq also has 800+ validated target areas across Europe and manually validates more than 1,000 locations in each market twice a year.
