Huq supplies location data about places, not people: how many visits a US store, center or street gets each week, where visitors come from, how long they stay and where else they go. It's aggregated and anonymized, built for site, property and investment decisions rather than ad targeting. More than 1,000 locations are manually validated in each of Huq's 35 markets twice a year. Start with a free sample for a site you know.

The overview video shows where Huq's data lives and how it leaves the platform. Watch how an area is chosen on the Explore map, which measures appear for it, and how the same fields are exported or delivered as data feeds. If your team plans to load the data into its own models, focus on the export and feed steps.

It is information that identifies the geographic position of a person, device or place. The term covers many things: device coordinates, IP geolocation, addresses and points of interest, and aggregated measures of how people visit places. Marketers use some types for geotargeting. Developers use IP lookups to localize websites.
For location decisions, the useful kind is aggregated data about places. It tells you how busy a site is, how that changes week to week, where its visitors travel from and how long they stay. Retailers use it to choose sites, landlords to show what a center attracts, and investors to track how a portfolio is trading.
That is what Huq provides. It isn't a source of IP lookups or ad-targeting audiences. You get weekly foot traffic, residents versus visitors, catchment and drive time, dwell, cross-visitation, footfall density, and POI and brand layers for any address. Explore it on the map, export it, or take Parquet and CSV feeds into your own Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage bucket.

It depends on the job. For site, property or investment decisions, buy place-level visit data from a provider that publishes validation. In Huq's own study, its visit data tracked Walmart's quarterly US net sales with 0.85 correlation and 3.8% error. Huq offers it through a self-serve platform, CSV and Excel exports, and data feeds into Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage.
Huq works with aggregated measures of visits to places. The output describes places, not people: weekly visits, dwell time and where visitors come from, mapped by area. It isn't a source of individual records or audiences for ad targeting.
Huq data updates weekly. Each week adds a new data point to the site's history, so you can see trends build, compare year over year and spot changes after a store opening, closure or refit without waiting for a quarterly report.
Yes. Huq measures visits to stores, shopping centers, main streets and other addresses across the US, and in 35 markets in total.
