The overview video walks through the Huq platform. Watch the Explore map's heat maps, which split visiting from passing traffic, then the weekly trend and catchment for a chosen area. It also shows the monthly PDF location report, which sets average daily and peak foot traffic against the prior month, prior years and regional benchmarks.

Footfall data is a count of the people visiting a place, such as a store, shopping center or main street, over a set period. Footfall is the UK and European term. US teams usually say foot traffic. They mean the same thing.
Footfall can be measured inside a venue with door counters, Wi-Fi or cameras, which suits conversion and staffing questions for sites you run. It can also be measured from outside with location data, which works for any address, including competitors' sites and sites you are considering.
Huq measures footfall from outside, with no hardware. Its footfall analytics add visiting versus passing traffic, where visitors come from, dwell time, visit frequency, footfall density and benchmarking. Teams use it to choose sites, compare stores with rivals and track centers week by week, then share monthly PDF reports. Huq has measured footfall in the UK and Europe for years and now covers the US.
