Huq is a site selection tool for consumer-facing businesses that need evidence on any UK address, fast. Drop a pin or draw an area on the Explore map to see footfall, catchment, travel time and the brands nearby. White Space Analysis points to gaps, Projects hold your shortlist, and exports and monthly PDF reports carry the evidence into board papers. It suits retail, food and drink, leisure and property teams.

The overview is a tour of the whole Huq platform. To judge it as a site selection tool, watch three things: how an address is checked on the Explore map, where White Space Analysis sits for deciding where to look, and how Projects keep a shortlist in one place. Keep in mind Huq is built for consumer-facing sites, not land or energy projects.

A site selection tool helps you judge whether a location is right for a new business site. The term covers a wide range. In the UK it is used for data centres, renewables and industrial land as well as shops and restaurants. Huq is built for consumer-facing sites, where the deciding question is how many people come, from where, and when.
For those sites, a useful tool does three jobs. It shows you where to look, it lets you check a specific address quickly, and it keeps a shortlist organised with evidence the board will accept. Huq does all three with footfall data for any address, including units that are empty today.
Commercial teams use the map. Analysts take CSV or Excel exports, or data feeds into Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage. Huq has no API.

It is software that helps you judge whether a location suits a new site, using data such as footfall, catchment, travel time and nearby competition. Huq is site selection software for consumer-facing businesses, built on measured footfall for any UK address.
No. Huq is built for sites where people matter: shops, restaurants, leisure and retail property. It measures footfall, catchment and visitor behaviour. Data centre and energy site selection depend on power, land and planning data that Huq does not provide.
It should cover any address, including empty units and competitors, show where visitors come from, and make it easy to compare a shortlist. It should also get data to analysts without friction. Huq does this through exports and data feeds rather than an API.
Huq data refreshes weekly. Each location also gets a monthly PDF report with footfall KPIs, trends against regional and national benchmarks, catchment, dayparts and dwell time. Those reports drop straight into board papers.
Yes. Huq covers any address in the UK, with no sensors or cameras. It validates more than 1,000 locations in each of its 35 markets twice a year, and in Great Britain reports an 18.7% median error against landlord-reported footfall.
Use the form to share some current sites or candidates. Huq will run a free analysis of footfall and catchment for those locations so you can test the tool's data on places you know.
