Franchise site selection is harder when every franchisee brings a different site and a different story. Huq gives UK franchisors one standard of evidence: footfall, catchment, dwell time and nearby brands for any address. Use it to map territories, check each proposed unit against your best outlets and track the network in one place. Puccinos said Huq's platform gave it "valuable data to support a key decision on potential new sites."

The overview is a tour of the whole platform. For franchise site selection, picture a franchisee's proposal arriving. The Explore map is where you would check that address. Projects are where proposed, approved and open sites sit with their status. White Space Analysis is where territory planning would start, when you are deciding where the network should grow next.

Franchise site selection covers two linked decisions. First, the franchisor decides which territories the brand should grow into and how big each one should be. Second, it approves or rejects the specific sites that franchisees put forward.
Both decisions are risky when the evidence varies. One franchisee sends landlord counts, another sends photos of a busy street on a Saturday. Approving a weak site hurts the franchisee, the brand and the royalty line. Drawing territories too tightly creates overlap between outlets; drawing them too loosely leaves gaps a competitor will fill.
Huq gives UK franchisors one consistent standard. Every proposed site is measured the same way, catchments show how far each outlet really reaches, and you can compare a new proposal with outlets whose trading you already know.

Most set criteria from their best-performing outlets, then plan territories and check each site a franchisee proposes against those criteria. Huq provides footfall, catchment, dwell time and nearby brands for any UK address, so every proposal is judged on the same evidence.
Start with the measured catchments of existing outlets. They show how far customers really travel and where outlets already share visitors. Use that to set territory boundaries, then use White Space Analysis to look for areas the network doesn't reach yet.
Yes. Huq works on any address, including vacant units. You can see footfall, visiting versus passing traffic, catchment and the brands nearby, and compare the site with your existing outlets.
Huq data refreshes weekly, and each location gets a monthly PDF report. Franchisors use these reports to keep an eye on outlet locations and to share consistent evidence with franchisees, so site discussions start from the same figures.
Any address in the UK: high streets, shopping centres, retail parks, roadside and leisure sites, with no sensors or cameras. Huq's published accuracy is an 18.7% median error in Great Britain against landlord-reported footfall, so a franchisee's proposal is judged on validated figures.
Use the form to list some of your outlets or proposed sites. Huq will run a free analysis of footfall and catchment for those locations, so you can test the data on outlets you know well.
