In Today’s Financial Times: Mobility Data Reveals Extent of UK’s Run on Fuel
The Financial Times today features data from Huq Industries showing the extent to which UK motorists flocked to filling station forecourts in the wake of a warning by BP on September 23rd over driver shortages.

On the day immediately following BP’s advice, visits to the nation’s filling stations spiked 12% on Weekday, September 24th. This increased demand led to long queues at petrol stations, fuel running out and petrol station closures. This has led to a 22% fall in drivers filling up as the supply chain seeks to recover the situation.
